The steps closely resemble the paper boats that we all remember making every monsoon. Think Christmas and a world full of bobbing red hats come to mind! Christmas hats are the life of every party and you can now make them at home. On the newly folded portion, fold tiny edges of the two sides.Now fold the square portion upwards and make another fold to the left.After folding it slantly, open then the folds of the folded portion. Now, place the paper horizontally and make a slant fold.Fold the one-thrid of the paper from the white strip side.Now fold the paper again from the creased line into one fold.Fold one-half of the paper and repeat the same process with the other half.Fold the red-side part of the paper on the outside in such a way that the white part is peeping lengthier than the red side.For the white border of Santa’s boots, fold half an inch at the right side of the paper.At this stage you can tie on some twine or string to hang in on your Christmas tree branch.Then once all six sections are together, press them all together to tighten up the wreath as a whole.It will be a tight squeeze fitting in the 6th section, so you will have to loosen up some other sections a bit to fit it in.See the picture below to see how they connect. Repeat that and add on the 3rd section.Then you will connect each section together by taking the tips of one section and place those inside the crease on the top of the 2nd section.You now need to make six of these total by taking another 10cm X 10cm piece of paper and repeat all of the folds from steps #1-8. This is the building block to the rest of the wreath. Now fold it in half so both triangle ends meet together.Now that you have a sharp crease, you can fold down both corners to the bottom of the paper.Be sure to make a strong crease of those folds and go over it again with your fingernails!.When both top and bottom are folded to the center, you can go ahead and fold that in half.Then you need to repeat that fold on the other side.After you fold it in half, open it up and fold up the bottom of the paper to the crease you made from the first fold.Once you have your 10cm X 10cm piece of paper, you will need to fold it in half.At this stage you can tie on some twine or string to hang in on your Christmas tree branch.
